"I’ve been using this serum consistently for about two weeks now, and while I had high hopes, I haven’t seen a noticeable improvement in my dark spots yet. The serum itself feels lightweight and absorbs well into the skin without leaving any sticky residue, which I do like. It also layers nicely under my moisturizer and makeup. However, when it comes to fading spots or evening out my skin tone, the results so far have been underwhelming. What is the percentage % of Vitamin C in the product?
First let me start by stating that we disclose the percentage of an ingredient only when it is an “active ingredient” in other words, an OTC (over-the-counter), FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approved ingredient. Here at Murad, as part of our Corporate policy, we do not disclose percentages in our high performance formulations as this information is considered proprietary. What I can share with you is that Dr. Murad creates formulas based on a result not a percentage. Our products are designed to treat a specific concern within the skin, keeping in mind our Whole-Person Health approach.
Can i use either the vita c serum and dark spot serum or should i just pick one ?
You can use the Vita C Glycolic Serum as your morning treatment and then the Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum in the evening.
How do you layer this product with copper peptides and Hyaluronic acid? Can you layer these three products together? Does the glycolic acid prevent me from using any other products with it?
You do not want to layer treatments. This prevents irritation and allows you to receive the full benefit of the treatment you are using.
After applying Vita C Glycolic, do I need to wait a certain amount of time before applying other serums, hyaluronic acid, moisturizer?
After applying the Vita C Glycolic Serum, wait and moment and then you would apply your moisturizer.
