This has witch hazel..I thought witch hazel was bad for the skin??

I used to have this when it was in the spray bottle and LOVED it. Now, I’m looking to buy it again, however, my skincare routine has changed. I use active niacinamide for day time and active retinol at night time. Would this be ok to use with actives? Also, I’m wondering about the vitamin C and what form it’s in? How stable is the vitamin C? Thanks!
You can use the toner prior to using your treatments. The vitamin C is Ascorbyl Palmitate.

I've been using the Purple Toner for a long time, should I be using this one because I have dark spots?
Both do provide hydration but the Essential C Toner has some additional benefits. You can use the Essential C Toner during the day to boost your hydration and antioxidant protection and then you can use the Hydrating Toner in the evening.
