"I hesitantly decided to try the Murad Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum, and I once again find myself disappointed. I have tried many products and none have worked. I had little hope for this one and the price was a little high for me,but after years of seeing this product advertised and the assurance that it would "rapidly" decrease the visibility of dark spots, I decided to give it a try. It's now been 46 days and I've been using it once to twice a day. Every other evening I switch to Retin-A instead. I can see no difference in my dark spots, freckles or moderate melasma whatsoever. To make matters worse, I've actually noticed a new spot forming despite pairing this product with daily SPF and wearing a hat and sunglasses when outdoors. That might be totally unrelated,but still disconcerting. That being said, I still have a good bit left and plan to finish the bottle. I may even consider purchasing one more bottle just to give this serum a fair chance before I add it to the long list of failed products. But there is definitely nothing rapid about it for me, Will update my review should I see any improvement."
"I had a combination of long-standing sun spots and “oldish” age hyperpigmentation, so I decided to try dealing with this, by using Murad. Within a few weeks, the areas had visibly lightened but I want to see how far it would go. I have been using it now for many months but the hyperpigmented area is still lightening.
